Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a UI/UX Designer for their Foster City, CA location.
Responsibilities: As a UX Designer in the operations domain, you will demonstrate your creativity, analytical, visualization, and prototyping skills, and knowledge of user-facing solutions to demonstrate the best product experiences, launch innovative features, and build internal tools that accelerate our operation. Collaborate with UX designers, UX researchers, product managers, and engineers to create products for client internal users. Stay abreast of company strategy and understand deeply about internal users. Improve client internal tools, design interaction and interface based on client design principles. Build prototypes with appropriate fidelity, conduct user research, and ensure building a correct solution. Communicate design decisions and deliver design guidance with high standards to engineers. Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with the users and cross-functional partners.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in UX design. Strong prototyping experience. Experience in shipping product features. Ability to understand technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design decisions. Portfolio demonstrating design process, decision making, prototypes, and visual design. Experience working on multimodal interactive products. Experience working on internal or enterprise products. Experience in building and shipping products that are ambiguous in scope. Bonus: Experience working in autonomous vehicle, mobility, or automotive industries.
