Position Summary

The Principal IT Business System Analyst is responsible for providing application services and support to the global Tennant organization in the SAP Global Trade Services space. As a member of IT Team, in this role you’ll primarily support business areas in trade management, import/export, compliance, and 3rd party solutions augmenting and expanding SAP capabilities. This role allows working with business users gathering requirements, defining solutions, testing, implementing, and supporting them along the way. You will also be participating in the organizational transformation journey with S4 HANA Implementation.

Responsibilities

Responsible for gathering business requirements and documenting them into business requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications.

Responsible to create detailed specifications and process flows to provide direction to application developers

Responsible for developing functional, integration, regression, and test plans

Responsible for analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes and business requests, and recommend solutions using system standards and best practices

Support, assist and train the users on new modified system configurations highlighting the impact on business processes

Work closely with Managers, Executives, Onsite team and Offshore team to ensure the release of high-quality solutions

Comply with regulatory and change control requirements and processes

Maintain IT Business system integrity and application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates

Demonstrate good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems

Qualifications :

10+ years of SAP ERP Business Systems Analysis experience with a focus on SAP Global Trade Services

Strong cross-module functional knowledge with Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution

Configure and maintain core global trade processes such as customs management and compliance management.

Exposure to S4 HANA will be an advantage

Experience working with business end users, gathering requirements, and building detailed functional design specifications, testing & coordinating delivery of features and functionality

Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes

Should contribute to team-building measures like Knowledge Management & Mentoring

Excellent verbal/written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills

Capability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision

Ability to be organized and detail-oriented

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

Ability to work with minimum supervision or guidance

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $101,000 - 156,400 Annualized

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
