Job Description:
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities. Track and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide direct speech and language therapy to students using evidence-based practices. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Educate students, families, and school staff on strategies to improve communication skills. Work with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational programs. Requirements
A Master's Degree in a communication disorder-related field is required for this role, along with an active Speech Pathology license in Illinois. While ASHA certification is not mandatory, it is highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
