Job Descriptions: Plans, implements, administers and monitor pharmacy services to provide the highest quality patient care and customer service in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Pender Community Hospital and The Apothecary Shops. Performs day-to-day operations of The Apothecary Shop effectively and efficiently in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager. Maintains a system of identification and filing to facilitate prompt retrieval of medical records. Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes computerized customer medication profiles accurately and in a timely manner. Enter customer information accurately and completely in a timely manner. Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to valid drug information. Provides prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs and related products to customers ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed for processing. Maintains competence required for current job/title position. Responds to patient questions and requires consulting via tele pharmacy system in a timely professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Hours: Minimum 36 hours/week, Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays Required Experience: Education, Experience: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD degree Certificates, Licensure, Registrations: Active Pharmacist License in the State of Nebraska GENERAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
