Provide quality family centered care that facilitate healthy development of infants/toddlers and increased family stability. Services are delivered in the community and include screening/assessment and intervention to children, parents and early childhood care providers to promote positive social/emotional development of the child. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and evidence-based research.

The Mental Health Consultant is a community-based position that provides culturally competent coordination between community early care providers and parents, utilizes evidence-based tools to measure progress and coordinates program evaluation.

Position Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling
- Possess a State license (LLMSW, LPC, LLP etc.)
- Maintains current COVID Vaccination per funding requirements
- MI-AIMH endorsed or willing / able to work towards Mi-AIMH Infant Mental Health Level II Endorsement
- Prior clinical work with young children
- Prior community-based work experience
- Possess strong written/oral communication skills
- Possess a valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
