Munson Nursery Call opportunities available in Gaylord, Grayling, Charlevoix and Cadillac, Michigan. Searching for a Pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician to provide nursery call coverage at the following Munson Healthcare hospitals: Gaylord, Grayling, Charlevoix and Cadillac, Michigan. This unique opportunity offers flexibility for those looking for per diem or ancillary work. The physician who provides nursery call coverage will be reimbursed for food, travel, and all lodging expenses incurred during a call shift. ABOUT THE MUNSON PHYSICIAN NETWORK Physicians & Advance Practice Providers Employed by or under a Professional Services Agreement with a Munson Healthcare entity. NOTE: Does not include independent members of the medical staff- 550+ Physicians and Advance Practice Providers

- Minimum of 3 24-hour call shifts per month.
- Mileage reimbursement (Provider to submit).
- Lodging reimbursement upon approval if outside “home” location.
- Newborn nursery call providers must be within 30 miles of hospital.
- Providers are credentialed at all possible sites and must go where assigned.

- As a health care provider, primary responsibility of the physician is to promote and maintain health in all age populations; and to prevent disease and illness exacerbation.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.
- Board eligible/certified for pediatric or family medicine practice in the State of Michigan
- Candidate must apply for and be granted applicable clinical privileges through MHC’s credentialing processes before rendering services
