Loan Car Manager

Previous Rental Car Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Service and Sales Management to control Loaner inventory in and out.
• Inspect daily the inventory count. ensuring ALL units are accounted for.
• Communicate with Management if any issues arise, such as misplaced keys, software or Surface Tablet issues.
• Check out all Loaners to customer and make sure all items are communicated to each customer about their use of the vehicle prior to departing in the vehicle.
• Check in all Loaners when customers return making sure that all aspects of the vehicle are checked out before signing off of the RO.
• If a customer returns a vehicle damaged, ensure all steps are followed to ensure payment or insurance is completed before the customer leaves.
• Follow-up with Advisors on ALL units assigned to their clients and obtain status of the unit's possible return date.
• Ensure Loaner days are maintained to GM policy and rules. All contracts must be renewed before 30 days.
• Ensure ALL contracts are properly filled out with customers proper information.
• Ensure Loaner Fleet is kept clean inside & out and Ready to Loan Out.
• When Not performing Loaner Duties, Please help with Parking and Valet as well as Concierge Duties.
• Use the OnTrac reports in the dealership operating system to manage the daily usage and due back status to manage fleet.
• Maintain key control of all vehicles.
• Turn in a daily Report to Manager after Reviewing and Performing Status checks with Advisors indicating reason still out or not returned.
