Position Summary: As the Financial Planning & Data Analyst, you will drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes while creating impactful Power BI dashboards that empower the organization with actionable insights. This role combines financial expertise with technical data skills, offering the chance to work cross-functionally and make a tangible impact on our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Partner with department leaders to track budgets, forecast results, and ensure financial alignment.
  • Develop scenario analyses and assist in crafting presentations for executives.

Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Build and maintain financial models to project revenue, expenses, and cash flows.
  • Conduct variance analysis to highlight performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Automate processes to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.

Power BI Development & Management

  • Design and maintain real-time, dynamic Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver customized reports.
  • Ensure data integrity by validating and troubleshooting Power BI datasets regularly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or similar roles.
  • Expertise in Power BI dashboard creation and data visualization best practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and key metrics.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to translate financial insights into actionable advice for non-financial stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in residential home services or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with SQL or database query languages.
  • Exposure to QuickBooks Online reporting.
