Reinsurance Accountant

Our client is a global insurance and investment organization providing property and casualty insurance solutions to business and industry, and one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in the world. We are looking for an Accountant with Reinsurance experience to join the team.

Title: Reinsurance Accountant

Location: New York, NY (Mid-town) - 3 days/week Hybrid Opportunity

Overview: The Accountant will handle cash calls, process Treaty accounts and pursue unsettled balances.

Functions:

• Foreign currency and exchange rate gains or losses
• Cash Calls and cash flow projections
• Set-up new vendor bank account in Core Integrator

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with reinsurance accounting experience
• Settling cash, pursuing unsettled balances
• Must be a good communicator - will be working with multi-global office sites, brokers, customers, etc.
