Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid (or their representative), the Graduate Admissions Recruiter is responsible for graduate student recruitment and outreach for the School of Health Sciences
Requirements:
Required Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Required Licensure: Valid, insurable driver's license.
Preferred level/type of experience

Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid (or their representative), the Graduate Admissions Recruiter is responsible for graduate student recruitment and outreach for the School of Health Sciences
- Identify, recruit, advise, and enroll prospective students to the School of Health Sciences, serving as their primary contact while counseling them on the enrollment process and graduate opportunities at AIC.
- Facilitate admissions and application process including application assistance, follow up, and review for prospective students applying to programs in the School of Health Sciences, which includes programs such as: Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Population and Community Health, and Sport and Human Performance.
- In consultation with the Dean of Health Sciences and Program Directors, makes admissions decisions for incoming graduate students to the School of Health Sciences.
- Maintains and updates the external CAS portal and corresponding web directories for applicants to Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.
- Accurately maintains data entry in CRM and application portal; including but not limited to inquiry entry, application review, and all other pertinent communications with prospective students.
- Schedule and conduct recruitment related travel throughout assigned territory, representing the College by attending fairs, visits, and other travel as needed.
- Create, implement, and manage communications, including but not limited to visits, emails, letters, and posters.
- Develop and implement effective methods of maintaining an admissions funnel to track prospective students from prospect phase through to matriculation. Establish and maintain relationships with students throughout the admissions pipeline.
Requirements:
Required Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Required Licensure: Valid, insurable driver's license.
Preferred level/type of experience
- College recruitment and admissions. Evening and weekend work are required. Candidates must be available and willing to work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Experience in health careers and/or health science field.
- Able to travel including evening and weekend work as required.
- Ability to lift, load, and transport admissions materials, displays, and other equipment up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to represent the office and College in a professional manner, conducting compelling, persuasive presentations to both small and large groups.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships across the campus community and with community and external partners.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve as needed, especially under pressure.
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude, strong commitment to customer service.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and processes, preferably Slate.
- Bilingual preferred, in both English and Spanish.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
