Location: New York City/New York Metropolitan/Hybrid

The Analyst/Associate position will actively support the Front Office business (Equities & Fixed Income) in all aspects of financial performance management and contribute to the broader FP&A team's day to day responsibilities and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Salary: $70,000 Min - $ 100,000 Max
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).

The Analyst/Associate position will actively support the Front Office business (Equities & Fixed Income) in all aspects of financial performance management and contribute to the broader FP&A team's day to day responsibilities and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual internal financial reports for presentation to Senior Management;
- Lead role in business planning, including maintaining budgets and forecasts while tracking business performance, understanding key business drivers and risks;
- Analyze the financial results and provide clear summaries surrounding revenue and expense drivers;
- Actively collaborate with internal teams including product control, corporate accounting, treasury, and financial reporting;
- Evaluate and streamline recurring processes, ensuring controls are maintained;
- Finance liaison and business partner with Cantor Executive team;
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses requested by Senior Management; and
- Manage special finance projects determined by the needs of Senior Management
- A successful candidate is a results-oriented self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- At least 1-3 years of experience with a background in FP&A and/or accounting;
- Must have strong MS Excel and Power Point skills;
- Essbase, Oracle and Tableau familiarity a strong plus;
- Financial services experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree required, Finance/Accounting/Economics major preferred
