Erie Family Health Centers, a top workplace in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Finance team! Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst is tasked with gathering financial and business data, systems and processes with the objective of creating and updating accurate reporting for financial analysis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in performing closing tasks and preparing entries required for booking net patient revenue
- Update monthly revenue reports and contractual adjustments & bad debt
- Work independently to identify and present cost avoidance and cost recovery opportunities
- Contribute to preparation of financial reporting
- Assist in preparing ad hoc analysis including compiling raw financial data as well as reports, graphs and presentations
- Support internal and external audits as needed
Education
Required:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other business degree
Required:
- Experience in preparing reports for financial analysis
- One (1) year of experience
- Healthcare billing industry experience a plus
- EPIC experience is a plus
- AXIOM or other database/SQL experience a plus
Required:
- Ability to use the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of financial data is required
- Ability to work independently
- Must be skilled at manipulating and analyzing complex data sets, systems and processes
- Must have intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel
- Medical claim analysis is a plus
