We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with expertise in grants management to join our Grants Management team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our grant programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and organizational policies. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including program managers, funders, and external auditors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the financial aspects of grant programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Develop and maintain comprehensive financial tracking systems for grants, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Prepare and submit grant financial reports in accordance with agency guidelines and deadlines. - Assist in the preparation of grant proposals by providing financial data and budgetary projections. - Monitor grant expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and compliance with funder requirements. - Conduct regular audits of grant accounts to ensure compliance and proper utilization of funds. - Collaborate with program management to analyze financial data and provide insights for program improvement. - Serve as the primary contact for grant funders during financial audits and inquiries. - Provide technical assistance and training to staff on financial management of grants. - Stay updated on changes in federal and state grant regulations, financial reporting requirements, and best practices in grants management.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required. - Minimum of [10 years] of experience in accounting, with a focus on grants management preferred. - Strong knowledge of grant accounting principles, government regulations, and reporting requirements. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. - Experience with governmental agencies is a plus.
