As a Senior Financial Analyst in Operations Controlling, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial performance, analyzing key operational metrics, and supporting decision-making processes to optimize cost efficiency and profitability within the organization. Partnering with plant operations, supply chain, and leadership teams, you will provide actionable insights and contribute to driving strategic business outcomes.

Main Tasks

• Analyze manufacturing and operational costs, identifying variances and providing recommendations to improve cost efficiency and margin performance.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cost structures.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports, KPIs, and variance analyses to stakeholders.
• Perform standard cost calculations according to the guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Perform monthly reviews of actual vs. standard costs, analyzing variances related to labor, overhead, materials, and operational inefficiencies.
• Evaluate capital expenditure (CAPEX) proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial feasibility.
• Monitor and track approved investments, providing periodic updates on ROI and budget adherence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiencies.
• Participate in cost-reduction and optimization projects, leveraging financial insights to achieve measurable results.
• Oversee logistics cost controlling and inventory management for the plant.
• Ensure accurate and reliable financial data within SAP and reporting systems, adhering to corporate accounting standards and policies.
• Support internal and external audits related to operations controlling activities.

Your Profile

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Experience

• 3+ years of financial analysis experience within operations or manufacturing, with a focus on cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of leading cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence.
