OMnet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Omnicom Media Group Holdings, LLC and was founded in late 2013. Operating as the principal buying arm of OMG, OMnet creates a private marketplace of premium media by entering into firm media commitments in return for discounts v. the marketplace. All investments are guaranteed and made upfront with Omnicom dollars allowing OMnet to secure discounts from a select group of media partners. While OMnet takes on all the financial risk, we use this platform as a mechanism to provide our 125+ OMG clients a savings benefit on a spend that runs through the program.

We have a great opportunity for a Junior Analyst, Budget Project Manager that will be part of the close-knit and supportive Finance Team. This role will focus on the invoicing and client billing reconciliations among other responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Finance/Accounting degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of Financial Planning and Accounting experience (including internships) preferred
  • Experience in media or advertising industry a plus
  • Proficient in Excel including pivot tables, mapping, lookups, charts, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Works well independently and on teams
  • Tenacity to follow-through on open items to complete assignments and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and follow instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact within team and across functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the end-to-end Budget Management process managing billing across all agencies; Enforce workflow processes pertaining to billing/financial activity across multiple departments
  • Assist in internal and external deliverables and questions on billing
  • Work with staff across agencies to on-board and set up new clients/agencies
  • Provide reporting, invoice copies, and other pertinent back-up to assist with resolving discrepancies, and Audits
  • Coordinate collection efforts for clients with delinquent AR balances, and assist with cash flow analysis
  • Ensuring timely payment to vendors
  • Consult with teams on the application of general accounting standards, and SOX compliancy

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range

$65,000-$65,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
