Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be focused on supporting the FP&A group in the analysis of financial results, budgeting/ forecasting as well as long-term planning and financial modeling. This individual will utilize strong business acumen and a dynamic personality to interact with management and numerous business teams on multiple projects to drive performance and support company initiatives. The Financial Analyst will utilize a thorough knowledge of business and financial concepts as well as financial statements to support the mission of the Accounting and Finance Departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs ad-hoc analysis to support strategy initiatives and special projects.
• Provides metrics and KPI's that improve the key drivers of operations and enable effective management, decision-making and execution.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information using a variety of reporting tools.
• Performs analysis, financial planning and provides recommendations to senior management to achieve strategic goals.
• Assists with the monthly close process including variance analysis, and the creation and distribution of monthly reporting package.
• Analyzes reports and accounts to ensure financial information has been accurately recorded.
• Identifies trends and developments in business performance and reports them to management.
• Supports Business Unit leaders in establishing performance related metrics.
