Our company seeks a Physical Therapist to join our awesome team. New grads are welcomed! Physical Therapist: To administer treatment through hands-on treatment, assist patients to regain their range of motion, manage their pain, and improve their quality of life. Provide educational information and help patients recover from injury and live to their fullest potential. Physical Therapist Duties and Responsibilities Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required. Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis before intervention. Evaluate the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan Recording patients' progress and modifying the plan of care if needed Administer manual exercises, massage, whirlpool, and/or traction to help relieve pain, increase the patient's strength, and decrease or prevent deformity and crippling. Administer treatment involving the application of physical agents, using equipment, moist packs, cold packs, electrical laser stimulation, phonophoresis, and ultrasound. Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications. Instruct the patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home and confer with the patient, medical practitioners, and appropriate others to plan implement, and assess the intervention program. Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and technicians, as well as supervising PT and PTA students. Physical Therapist Education Requirements and Qualifications Board certified through the American Board of Physical Therapy Bachelor's degree preferably in a science-related field or a Doctorate degree Current Arizona State licensure CPR certification Some supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
