As our Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing psychologist treatment options and assessment tools to help those with mental health disorders. This position will have the option to see psychotherapy clients as well. Canopy serves a diverse population of clientele using a client-centered and culturally responsive approach. Services are provided in an outpatient setting,
both in-person and telehealth
(in state applicants only). This position is supervised by Canopy's Clinical Manager and receives support from Canopy's Administrative Team

Hiring Salary Range:
$100,000 - Starting salary will depend on your skills and demonstrated readiness for the role.
Hours/Day:
Monday-Friday, 40+ hours a week - occasional evenings when necessary.

Canopy will provide staff with a laptop, phone, and any other necessary technology, and office supplies as needed. Canopy will also supply any necessary testing supplies and assessments needed.
Essential Job Functions
Assessments Conduct initial diagnostic and psychological assessments/testing/evaluations and confers diagnosis as appropriate for all ages (children, adolescents and adults) Facilitates speciality evaluations to support accurate diagnostic and treatment protocols Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests, and write comprehensive reports of test results and provide feedback and recommendations Service Providing
Provide culturally appropriate evidence based psychological interventions in individual, group and family modalities for psychological disorders, including co-occuring substance abuse disorders This position will carry a psychotherapy caseload that will be phased out as testing services increase Please note that it will not be a full caseload
Collaboration
Provides consultation support and information to team of clinicians on behavioral/psychological management of clients Works collaboratively with team of psychotherapist, psychiatric prescribers, and admin to ensure quality care Collaborating with other Canopy providers to assist clients with referrals for psychotherapy or medication management; or additional external referrals to care and treatment Documentation
Maintains accurate, complete and timely documentation in electronic health records system Completes all psychological testing reports/documentation and billing in timely manner Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program with appropriate clinical training Successful completion of Postdoctoral training hours Must be
fully licensed
in the state of Minnesota. Any out-of-state applicants must be licensed or willing to become licensed in Minnesota Flexible, culturally responsive and effective communication skills (both written and verbal) Must be passionate and knowledgeable about providing culturally responsive services Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong ability to work independently and developed critical thinking skills Is efficient, highly motivated with strong attention to detail Fantastic organization and time management skills Basic knowledge of insurance billing process (CPT Codes, Diagnostic ICD Codes, use of Modifiers) Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines and filing cabinets. This role must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
