Island Health is looking for an experienced Radiology/CT Technologist for our Night Shift at our hospital in Anacortes, WA.
Work Schedule: 0.875 FTE / 35 hours per week Night shift Schedule:
Week 1- Monday (off), Tue/Wed/Thur 9:00pm - 7:00am, Fri/Sat/Sun (off)
Week 2- Monday 9:00pm - 7:00am, Tue/Wed/Thur (off), Fri/Sat/Sun 9:00pm - 7:00am
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new hires to Island Health Salary Range: $45.37 - $68.06

Radiology/CT Technologist Job Responsibilities:
Uses correct technical parameters and positions patients accurately to produce images as prescribed by a physician. Correctly sends images to PACS, including all appropriate scanned paperwork and comparison exams. Shares in call status to provide "around the clock" coverage. Explains procedure to each patient prior to exam. Provides for patient privacy, comfort, and safety. Effectively communicate exam preparations and scheduling needs with the hospital staff.. Provides immobilization devices as required. Administers drugs or chemical mixtures orally or as enemas to render organs opaque. Provides radiation protection as needed per exam. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. Transports patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms assuming responsibility for their safety. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness during procedures. May prepare image CDs for patients. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:
Completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) registration Current CT Certification from the ARRT Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
