The
YMCA Sports Coordinator
helps support the Sports Director by helping to implement and supervise sports programs.
Kyler Olson, Sports Official said, "I love my job because seeing the energy and enthusiasm the kids have for something I did as a kid has driven me to go to school to become a teacher. The excitement they have when they accomplish something they've been working so hard to achieve lights up my day."
In this role, you can look forward to: Assisting the Sports Director with implementation and supervision of basketball, flag football, volleyball and T-Ball programs to meet the needs of our members and community. Applying game and venue polices to ensure safety and welfare of members and participants. Building relationships with participants, helping them connect with each other and the YMCA. Organizing, distributing and returning equipment, including set up and take down. Helping to clean up after each shift, ensuring cleanliness of venue and equipment. Attending and assisting with staff meetings and training. Part Time Shifts Available, Evenings & Weekends:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 4:00 pm-8:30 pm Wednesday: 5:00 pm-11:00 pm Saturday: 9:30 am-4:00 pm Shift times may vary based on program registration & availability

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Knowledge of and experience with participating in youth and/or adult sports required. Experience with coaching, officiating, or supervising sports programs preferred. Enthusiasm for YMCA programs and an interest in working with youth required.
