As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on our Search Ads team, you will play a critical role in the development and scaling of a large-scale ad platform. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and implementing machine learning models to enhance ad personalization, ranking, and relevance. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and success of our search monetization initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Participate in the
design and development
of a large-scale
search ads system . Optimize
relevance models
and strategies using techniques like
semantic matching, active learning , and
multi-modal models . Develop and iterate on
ad algorithms
to improve ad targeting, personalization, and user engagement. Enhance
NLP capabilities
for better query understanding, including
query classification, seq2seq models, NER (Named Entity Recognition) , and
knowledge graph optimization . Work on
CTR (Click-Through Rate)
and
CVR (Conversion Rate)
model accuracy, focusing on data analysis, modeling, and feature engineering. Conduct research and development on
ad pacing algorithms
and traffic control to optimize ad performance. Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define product strategies and features. Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience
in search, ads, recommendation systems, monetization, or related domains. Proficiency in
programming languages
such as
Python, Go, or C/C++ . Strong expertise in
Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP , and
ranking/recommendation systems . Demonstrated ability to
analyze data , create predictive models, and optimize performance metrics. Excellent
problem-solving skills
with the ability to think critically and formulate solutions in a clear, concise manner. Proven track record of working in
fast-paced, cross-functional environments , preferably in Tier 1 or Tier 2 tech companies. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
cross-cultural
team setting. Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is preferred, but not required. Job Type : Full-time
