The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and members of Minor League Baseball. The Fisher Cats are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and self-driven individual motived to make Delta Dental Stadium the most entertaining experience in the Eastern League and uphold its reputation as "Best Ballpark" as voted on by fans.
Summary:
Designed to provide supervised work experience for applicants to build their expertise and proficiency in turf and athletic field management, as well as enhance their problem-solving abilities. Along with baseball, there will be other opportunities to work events at the stadium. This is a paid hourly position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the field and landscape's fertility program
- Assist in the implementation of aerification, top dressing, over seeding, vertical mowing, etc.
- Clay Work: mounds, home plate, infield skin, and warning track
- Aid in irrigation repairs and system tuning
- Tarp Management and weather situations
- Take down Batting Practice cages
- Prepare field prior to games
- Mid-inning infield drag
- Post-game repairs and patchwork
- Tarp Management
- Wash equipment
- Clean Shop/Office Areas
- Other duties may be assigned
- High Attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and advance in the industry
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successfully pass a Background Investigation.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including working game nights, weekends, holidays, and special event nights as needed.
- Students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Turf Management/Soils Programs are preferred.
- Prior/Related experience working in sports fields is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of equipment used to maintain sports fields. (Mowing, fertilization, aeration, etc.)
- Work will require weekend and evening work.
- Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time
- The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
