Mail Service Specialist

Pay Range: $30 - $32/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate in an office mailroom within a large building.
• Deliver mail, packages, copy products, and stationery to assigned groups/locations based on the daily schedule.
• Intake and sort mail by department.
• Deliver and pick up mail from each floor.
• Handle UPS/FedEx incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure same-day distribution of received packages or notify consignees of next-day delivery.
• Conduct daily supplies audits and replenishment.
• Audit delivered items against delivery invoices.
• Approve or reject deliveries based on inspections and check for contraband.
• Ensure packages are adequately protected during shipping.
• Process shipment requests with vendors and advise package owners of arrangements.
• Apply proper postage and identification to outgoing mail/packages.
• Stock copy rooms and provide first-response copier fleet support (e.g., clearing jams, determining the need for a technician).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:Mail Service , Warehouse , Material Handler .
• High School Diploma or GED .
• Systems/Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams primarily) .
• Active and mobile role (must be able to move around the building).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Previous office mailroom experience.
