About the Job
General Statement of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing all radiographic examinations, clerical duties, record keeping and maintaining patient's exam records. Schedule patients for exams done at the hospital and outpatient x-ray departments.
This is a full time 40 hour a week position. The hourly rate ranges $30-$36 depending on qualifications.
This position offers university holidays off, no weekends, and the Minnesota State Retirement System (MSRS) Employee pension plan. Patient base is college aged (no pediatrics).
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
* Perform radiographic procedures.
* Perform EKGs and Spirometry examinations.
* Schedule x-ray exams for the hospital and outpatient x-ray departments.
* Transport patients from the x-ray department back to clinic area.
* Conduct QA testing and record results.
* Maintain clean radiographic rooms, including cleaning of cassettes.
* Perform clerical duties.
* Promote a safe, equitable, and respectful environment in which concerns can be addressed effectively.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- AA/AS in radiologic sciences or radiologic technology and combination of related education and experience to equal at least six years
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technology school. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion
