Summary
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Marketing and Events Coordinator works closely with the Marketing Technology Manager to support and coordinate marketing, events and business development projects.

Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree marketing/business or communications and/or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of marketing or events experience

- Marketing Support (50%)
- Assists with production and distribution of digital marketing materials using email marketing platform, including, but not limited to alerts, articles, event invitations, news releases and announcements.
- Supports the development of marketing collateral, such as practice group descriptions, attorney bios, event materials and other ancillary items.
- Contributor to the daily management of the firm's website, including content revisions and additions.
- Proofreads and edits marketing materials.
- Monitors email marketing analytics and produces reports that capture the results of the firm's digital campaigns
- Ensures digital communications are consistent with the firm's overall brand standards.
- Provides basic graphic design support that includes formatting photos and working with InDesign templates
- Event Coordination and Support (45%)
- Collaborates with the Events Specialist on the support and management of firm hosted and firm sponsored events directly tied to the marketing and business development activities of the firm.
- Builds and maintains electronic invitations to ensure deliverability and monitors that marketing tools and systems are tracking RSVPs and following up activities.
- Assists in compiling and editing event presentation materials, including PowerPoints.
- Uses CRM system to track and build reports summarizing attendee information.
- Attends and provides support during in-person and virtual events. This can include managing registration table, facilitating webinar presentation, managing Q&A and other day-of logistics.
- Assists in preparing speakers including conducting pre-recording sessions.
- Supplements the application and tracking of CLE for certain marketing events and facilities communication with attendees regarding CLE materials.
- Organizes and maintains files and documents related to events.
- Assists with creating strategic plans for events in SmartSheet
- Other (5%)
- Creates and updates team SmartSheets used to manage projects and tasks.
- Provides administrative support as it relates to major projects (reporting, follow-up, scheduling, etc).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel
Travel to other office locations on occasion to attend meetings and assist with events.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the responsibilities of the position, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the person in this position will encounter. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a professional, fast paced office environment that may require additional hours to complete work.

The salary range for this role is $48,000-$54,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. The range is provided as an initial approximation at the time of posting and may vary based on the individual's unique qualifications and experience.
