Job Description
Note: We are looking for someone with hands on python coding skills and who worked in automotive infotainment space like worked on carplay etc
•We need technicians to work alongside engineers to perform validation of CarPlay and next generation CarPlay on 100+ automation setups of phones and iPads running CarPlay Simulator.
•The lab technician will be primarily responsible for lab maintenance, SW/FW updating, assisting with experiments, ensuring lab throughput, as well as providing a first pass on issues caught by the automation, by monitoring, quantifying, and escalating issues to QA DRIs. The individual will also be responsible for running manual test suite to be familiarized with product(s) under test.
Skills
Knowledge of Mac and iOS hardware, strong troubleshooting skills, high level of comfort using Terminal and bash, familiarity with python scripting, strong attention to detail, strong time-management skills, strong communication skills, ability to multitask and deliver results under competing priorities
Must-haves for Lab Technician
•Excellent debugging skills
•bility to learn new technologies fast
•Interest in HW testing
•djust to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
•Familiarity with Python.
Preferred for Lab Technician
•Proficiency in Python
Timezone
•Cupertino location and expected to work in office and lab - 5 days a week

Success Criteria/Definition of Done
•CEQA automated test output stays consistently > 90%
•ll lab management tasks and requests in the queue are performed in a timely manner within defined deadlines.
•lear and timely communication with the team
•ll defect reports are written clearly with all applicable logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc. as required.
•Communication with the team is clear, effective and timely. Critical feedback is accepted and changes are made to improve if needed
