We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision for all incoming materials, shipments, and documentation. As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Precision Inspections: Use micrometers, calipers, and pi-tapes to perform detailed inspections of materials and products.
• Create Shipment Documentation: Utilize vendor-provided software to generate packing slips and all necessary shipping documentation.
• Maintain Quality Records: Complete inspection reports and material certifications accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with Production: Collaborate with machining staff for first-article inspections and ensure that products meet required specifications.
• Oversee Packaging: Notify the packaging team when orders are ready for packaging, ensuring timely preparation for shipment.
• Manage Shipping Logistics: Handle domestic and international shipments, including preparing returns, samples, and customer orders using tools such as UPS Worldship and FedEx.com.
• Uphold Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with all quality policies, specifications, and regulations, and continuously work to improve processes.
• Cross-Functional Support: Serve as backup to receiving and packaging teams, helping wherever needed.
• Commit to Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new equipment, tools, and techniques to improve quality control processes.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.), and a strong working knowledge of MRP, cycle counting, and inventory management systems.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills-must be able to follow instructions, report findings, and collaborate with various teams.
• Multitasking: Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality at every step of the process.
