Technical Lead Engineer (Metals / Plastics)
Responsibilities:
•Own up Projects to take it through the project lifecycle (initiation to finish)
•Fast learner to grasp the development process at customer location
•Coordinate with diverse teams to ensure project execution
•Work with suppliers towards solving any production issues of assigned projects
•Create, modify, review related Quality system documentation for the project and coordinate for necessary approvals
•Analyze data received from suppliers and make recommendations, create reports and present it to Project team / customer stakeholders

Experience:
•Medical device industry in Manufacturing (Process & Product) development roles
•Experience in Cost Reduction implementation activities (Direct Material Costs) by process changes (not by only supplier change / alternate country for manufacture)
•Statistics - Data analysis, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R, Component Qualification along the lines of PPAP, Statistical process control, Lead and execute Design of Experiments
•Execution of process or product change management of multiple projects (planning and execution)
•Cost analysis and driving the primary necessity of cost reduction
•Metallic, Plastic component qualification (materials & processing technologies). Deep understanding of metal, Plastic, and assembly manufacturing methods used for component manufacturing by either - stamping, machining (conventional CNC, mill turn, Electro chemical, Metal injection molding, powder metal, welding, mechanical joining, fine blanking, additive manufacturing (3-D printing), plastic injection molding, welding, joining, electro-mechanical, and others.)
•GDT fundamentals-design discussions
•Process validation practices (GMP), Risk analysis including use of FMEA
•Product design & DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly)
Qualifications: BS Degree - Mechanical / Manufacturing; 6 Sigma Green Belt
