Overview
East West Bank is currently seeking to hire a Senior Relationship Manager (RM) in Dallas, TX focused on C&I lending. The RM will be primarily focused on developing and acquiring new lending relationships and can also structure and underwriting new transactions (target loan size is $10 - $50 million) in which East West Bank is the sole lender or lead bank.
Responsibilities:
Source and identify new middle market lending opportunities.
Help structure and underwrite new transactions for middle market borrowers (both CF and ABL), including financial modeling
Participate and lead due diligence calls with new prospective customers
Work with syndications and newly-formed capital markets group to bring in additional lenders and new capital sources for East West-led transactions
Assist portfolio management team with monitoring of existing portfolio and serve as first contact with borrower
Attend industry conferences and prospect meetings to help develop new customer relationships
Build relationships with investment banks, private equity sponsors, other lenders, and other potential deal sources
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management or a related field.
Completion of a formal credit training program is preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience at a bank or credit fund
Outstanding credit skills and experience working on direct deals
Strong business writing and overall communication skills
Ability to think strategically in both helping customers and business find ways to get deals done
High level of interest in financial services industry / credit
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $200,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
