Job Description :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented D ata S cientist to join our people analytics team. You will assist with the development of reporting and analytics solutions to deliver the data and insights that HR and business leaders need in order to make informed decisions about talent at ManTech - including workforce planning and employee mobilit y/retention. This position is a Hybrid position that will require you to be in the Herndon, VA office twice a week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Anticipate, solicit , and document stakeholder requirements for people data and data-driven insights, and design appropriate solutions to address those requirements. Extract HR, finance, and business data from enterprise technology platforms, and format/wrangle data for analysis and visualization. Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of HR programs. Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards to distill large volumes of data into a user-friendly presentation of key insights. Develop predictive models and scenario tools to uncover high-value insights and guide decisions by HR and business leaders. Apply new technologies and practices to continuously improve the function.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in statistics, economics, data analytics, or another quantitative field preferred. 3+ years of professional experience in a role that involved serving as an internal or external Experience with R, Python, or similar statistical programming software. Experience with the design and development of statistical forecasting models, including linear/logistic regression models. Experience with the development of dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI or similar data visualization tools. S killed user of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint . Analytical skills to process large amounts of information. Excellent communicator, both spoken and written. Professional demeanor and excellent customer focus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Thrives working both independently (a self-starter) and collaboratively. US Citizenship is required .
Desired Qualifications:
C onsul ting experience responsible for supporting business leaders with data-driven solutions or insights . Experience writing and executing queries to extract and manipulate data from enterprise data warehouses . Experience working with people data from Workday or similar h uman c apital m anagement software , learning management software, and/or applicant tracking systems .
