Mechanical Technician, Self Perform Construction

As a Tesla Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Self-Perform Construction Team for various construction projects throughout our facilities.
Responsibilities
Ability to read/interpret drawings/blueprints and provide in-field mark ups as needed Ability to, fabricate and build basic and/or complex structures, supports or framework in the execution of daily tasks Ability to Weld using ARC, MIG, TIG processesAbility to perform oxy/acetylene torch, plasma arc cutting processes Show ability to perform safe rigging procedures for lifting or installing various equipment, perform demolition of equipment/systems and the ability to properly isolate, rig and remove safely in proper sequence Requirements
Minimum of 5 years mechanical experience with industrial equipment, distribution, and infrastructure Excellent communication skills essential for team-based working Safety Certifications a plus (OSHA30) Welding Certification a plus Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal Compensation and Benefits Benefits

$32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
