Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled GIS Professional with a proven track record in coordinating GIS efforts across government and private projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Wind, Solar, Carbon Capture, and Battery Storage. This role requires expertise in GIS tools, data conversion, and geospatial dataset management, with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
•Coordinate GIS efforts across projects in sectors like Oil & Gas, Wind, Solar, Carbon Capture, and Battery Storage, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.
•Provide internal support and training on GIS tools and processes.
•Focus on data conversion, data maintenance, and improving operational efficiency through tools like ModelBuilder.
•Create and manage complex geospatial datasets and maps for both internal and external clients.
•Utilize advanced geo-processing tools and data cleansing techniques to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Required Qualifications
•Proven experience in GIS coordination across diverse sectors such as Oil & Gas, Wind, Solar, Carbon Capture, and Battery Storage.
•Expertise in GIS tools, data conversion, and data maintenance processes.
•Strong experience with geospatial dataset creation and management.
•Proficiency in using advanced geo-processing tools and techniques, such as ModelBuilder.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills for providing support and training.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working with both government and private sector projects.
•Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and requirements for GIS applications in energy and environmental sectors.
•Experience with GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, and other relevant geospatial tools.
