Salesforce Developer

Title: Salesforce Developer Location: Springfield, VA / Remote Note: Security Clearance: DHS/TSA clearance is strongly preferred, but can take others as well Job Description: Experience: 2-5 years of job-related experience Our team is responsible for implementing and operating enterprise solutions using Salesforce integrated with other leading cloud technologies. You'll be working on an agile scrum team that is part of a laner SAFe program. The scrum team is responsible for grooming, estimating, solutions and building user stones that may require Lighting Web Components (LWC), Apex, OOTB components, Flow, Process Builder, etc. to implement. Responsibilities: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization (APEX Closs, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web components etc.) Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, and identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable and easy-to-understand code/configuration. Perform independent code reviews and write un-integration test cases to achieve 85 test coverage Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects that may be reported as a result of faults in the production system Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud Familiarity with what technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills: Additional Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Experience with Salesforce DX and version control systems like Git Knowledge of Agle development methodologies Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes Experience with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations Understanding of business processes and how Salesforce can be leveraged to improve them
