About the role
Forever Cheese seeks a creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated Marketing Specialist who is passionate about cheese and specialty food. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment and can dive into a wide variety of projects, including event planning, content creation, and social media management. They will join a small, nimble team that drives the messaging behind Forever Cheese.
This role will have expected travel to our product studio in Secaucus, NJ weekly.
What impact you can create at Forever Cheese
Coordinate trade show preparations, including paperwork, logistics, samples, supplies, internal and external communication, set up and breakdown (when applicable) Create engaging, fun, and on-brand content, including social media posts, short-form video, blogs, email marketing, and website content across multiple brands Leverage Forever Cheese's Product Studio to develop compelling educational video content that supports campaigns, product launches, and customer-specific promotions Manage and grow social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn with a focus on brand equity, content curation, and strategic partnerships. Regularly analyze performance metrics and provide reports to the team, highlighting key insights Manage product information updates across all company websites ensuring data accuracy and alignment with strategic brand positioning Collaborate with Sales team to create collateral for customers that is tailored to each audience and supports Forever Cheese's commercial business objectives, including sell sheets, flyers, brochures, ads, slide decks, and catalogs. When needed, assist with label and packaging updates Assist with monthly newsletters that highlight new products, promotions, educational topics, trade events, and company news through Hubspot Marketing Hub. Analyze engagement to identify areas for improvement and develop alternative approaches Marketing administration including printing collateral, organizing photo library, maintaining media and email lists Stay current with industry trends, collaborate with marketing team on new ideas for content and campaigns Develop a thorough understanding of our product catalog to more effectively communicate and drive brand awareness What you will bring to this role
Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the food industry Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Deep understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and community engagement Experience creating video and photo content Excellent writing and communication skills with an emphasis on thoughtful and authentic storytelling Keen eye for design and basic experience laying out brochures, flyers, catalogs, slide decks, and other collateral Team player who easily collaborates with many different departments within the organization Insatiable enthusiasm for learning Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Wordpress, Hubspot Marketing Hub preferred Our Benefits
