We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Procurement Specialist - Semiconductor Materials to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that our supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently for our semiconductor business. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, procurement processes, and supply chain management principles. The Technical Procurement Specialist will work closely with various departments to optimize inventory levels, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products.
Core Responsibilities: Developing global sourcing strategies for semiconductor materials, negotiating contracts and sourcing solutions, conducting market research and supplier evaluations. Address sourcing complexities arising from market fluctuations and energy conditions affecting raw material prices. Guide regional and global supply strategies, collaborating with multifunctional teams in manufacturing, technology, and supply chain. Evaluate technical specifications and business inputs, especially when purchasing options are limited. Build and manage key supplier relationships within the Semiconductor Materials industry to align with business objectives. Identify sourcing opportunities to support R&D initiatives across business platforms. Oversee supplier performance and maintain effective communication within the supplier's organization. Tracking supplier schedule to ensure on-time delivery Analyzing and comparing supplier quotations, negotiating prices, and ensuring the best value for money. Preparing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy in all documentation. Coordinating with suppliers to track and update delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. Maintaining and updating the purchasing database and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements and providing recommendations to management. Assisting in resolving any supplier-related issues or discrepancies, such as quality control or invoice discrepancies. Supporting the implementation and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures. Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Proven ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with suppliers. Proficiency in using purchasing software and systems. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Knowledge of procurement best practices and a solid understanding of the purchasing process. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Team-player mentality and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role in the Semiconductor Materials space. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards. Familiarity with inventory management systems. Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus. Strong mathematical skills for price analysis and cost calculations. Ability to adapt and learn new processes and systems quickly. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, establishing credibility and trust with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
