Position Overview
Pantheon Data (A Kenific Holding company) has an opening for an experienced
Data Engineer .
Responsibilities Collaborate with experienced engineers in the design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Develop and maintain embedded software modules using programming languages like C++ and Python. Assist in the implementation of networking solutions and data pipelinesensuring seamless communication between software components. Contribute to the development of software tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance overall product quality and efficiency. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality and adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues. Support the integration of software components on Linux operating systems. Assist in the testing and validation of software features, ensuring functionality and performance meet specified requirements. Utilize cloud technologies to enhance software deployment and management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to understand requirements and contribute to technical discussions. Maintain clear and organized documentation of software designs, processes, and development tasks. Required Skills and Experience
5 or more years of relevant work experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software development, focusing on embedded systems. Experience with Data Warehouse concepts and relational databases. Experience designing and implementing ETL and reliable data pipelines. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages. Familiarity with modern cloud technologies and capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team. Good oral and written communication skills. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality software. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience working in a government environment. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Xen, OpenStack, VirtualBox). Experience with automation and baselining of artifacts using a DevOps pipeline.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
