Technical Support Specialist
to play a pivotal role in ensuring our broadcast operations run seamlessly. At Fort Myers Broadcasting Company, you'll be part of an innovative team, working with cutting-edge systems that bring news and entertainment to life! What You'll Do:
Keep Us On Air : Install, repair, and maintain hardware and systems essential for broadcast production and news operations. Lead System Innovations : Assist with launching new platforms and software upgrades to keep us ahead of the curve. Train and Empower : Conduct technical training for staff, helping them troubleshoot and maximize system potential. Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with our graphics team to implement and optimize graphics systems for seamless integration. Master Inventory Management : Oversee and track hardware inventory to ensure we're always ready to roll. Specialized Support : Provide expertise on ROSS products, supporting news and production teams in achieving flawless broadcasts. Drive Technical Projects : Collaborate with engineering on innovative projects, tackling technical challenges with creativity. What You Bring:
Problem-Solving Expertise : A knack for troubleshooting under pressure while coordinating with engineering and vendors. Tech-Savvy Skills : Hands-on experience with broadcast systems, digital electronics, and virtual platforms. Communication Excellence : Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences with ease. Broadcast Know-How : Deep understanding of the latest trends and tools in broadcast technology. Preferred Experience:
2-3 years in a technical support or broadcast role. Familiarity with live production environments and news operations. Bonus: Experience with ROSS broadcast products. Why Join Us?
