Location & Travel:
This position will be a Hybrid role based in Crystal City, VA with the ability to be in the office 2-3 days per week and attend on-site meetings as needed.
Security Clearance:

Responsibilities: As a Senior Solutions Architect on the Data Product Teams, you will leverage your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strategic vision to ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, and innovative.
Key Responsibilities: Aid in the architectural design and development of end-to-end data solutions, ensuring they meet mission requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define and execute data strategies Integrating with other solutions architects, data governance, and data platform teams to ensure the data products adhere to the data mesh principles and standards. Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance our data infrastructure and capabilities. Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our data product solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concepts to validate new technologies and approaches. Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and applications, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and issues. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our data architecture and solutions. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of experience with Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture 3+ years of experience with Big Data systems, including Hadoop, Spark 3+ years of experience with Python, Java, Shell Scripting, SQL or R Experience with briefing senior leadership Experience with DoD networks and infrastructure Experience with working in a complex environment and managing competing priorities Experience with working with product leaders to align and manage application and system roadmaps with mission needs Additional Qualifications: Experience developing data pipelines using Apache Spark, Databricks Experience with SQL query engines Databricks, Snowflake and Redshift Experience with Big Data processing frameworks such as EMR, Athena and Big Query Experience developing architecture options for existing and new technologies Experience developing target architecture and road maps Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Clearance Statement:
