Senior Software Engineer - IAM at Humana in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first As a Senior ForgeRock Engineer, you will support Humana's Consumer (B2C & B2B) Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, helping centralize digital identity services. You'll work with ForgeRock/Ping Identity to enhance customer experience, standardize IAM best practices, and ensure compliance with the latest security standards. This role involves guiding the team in design, development, and implementation, while mentoring junior engineers. The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Key Responsibilities: + Collaborate across teams to design, develop, and maintain IAM products. + Build and maintain frameworks, libraries, reusable components, and REST APIs. + Participate in product stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospective meetings. + Shape product architecture and technology decisions. + Implement continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices. + Create and update technical documentation. + Lead and mentor developers in best practices and coding standards. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant work history in lieu of degree requirement. + 5+ years in software development (Java, React, JavaScript). + 3+ years with ForgeRock (Ping Identity) Identity Platform components. + Strong leadership experience mentoring software developers. + Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, including design and migration. + Experience with OAuth2.0, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies. + Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, AD). + Strong communication skills for presenting demos and pitching solutions. + API Development, ForgeRock Identity Management, IAM, Java, .Net, JavaScript + Ping Identity, SDLC, Technical Leadership, Azure DevOps, Git, RESTful APIs + Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred Qualifications + Master's Degree Work-At-Home To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
