Responsibilities: Lead critical initiatives to secure our systems, assess vulnerabilities, and respond to evolving threats. Assess current security policies, procedures, and systems, recommending enhancements where necessary. Conduct thorough security audits, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests. Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents swiftly and effectively. Implement measures to protect sensitive client and firm data. Provide technical guidance on compliance with regulations and security standards. Create detailed reports and recommendations for long-term security improvements. Qualifications: Proven track record in cybersecurity, ideally within legal, professional services or regulated industries. Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation. Proficiency with tools and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls. Strong knowledge of encryption, firewalls, and network security best practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable. Ability to work independently and deliver results within a defined timeline.
