Solutions Architect - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Solutions Architect, you will lead efforts in designing, developing, and implementing application solutions and system integrations that align with the client's business needs. This position requires a strong understanding of enterprise applications, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, and system integration strategies for business solutions. Define, document, and estimate enterprise application requirements, including data, workflow, hardware, and operating system environments. Collaborate with IT staff to assess business needs and translate them into automated solutions. Produce solution design artifacts, including technical estimates, conceptual and logical designs, sequence diagrams, and data models. Coordinate new system development to ensure seamless integration with existing applications and COTS solutions. Analyze feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs, consulting with clients to prototype and design applications. Collaborate with business areas and cross-functional enterprise architects to fully understand business needs and provide strategic consultation. Partner with architects and technical team members to develop roadmaps and strategies supporting agency KPIs. Design and implement enterprise security/technology patterns. Provide tactical direction and architecture considerations for legacy solutions as needed.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Experience with SAFe architecture and proven work with Agile/Scrum teams. Proven experience in developing enterprise and solution-level architectural designs. Experience in linking cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems. Expertise in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data mapping. Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques. Good project management skills and exposure to project-based work structures and lifecycle models. Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. Proficiency with XML constructs and schemas. Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST. Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements. Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
