POSITION OVERVIEW: The Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) seeks a Senior Business Analyst (BA) to support special projects and select efforts of our Cloud Migration initiative. The BA will report the Special Projects Project Manager. Responsibilities will include system gap analysis, business process review, systems, and process documentation development, testing and implementation of projects and enhancements to meet the project objectives. The BA should be well versed in the systems development lifecycle. Previous Cloud Migration experience desired. Preference will be given to candidates with Medicaid systems, and prior government experience. The BA must have sufficient knowledge working in an Information Technology (IT) environment. Ensure entire scope of work aligns with standard operational procedures and standard methodology and practices. The BA primary responsibility is to support the Special Projects Project Manager to oversee delegated areas of responsibility, project vetting of documentation, validation of implemented coding through self-testing or coordination with testing team meets the requirements and conforms to all applicable Federal and state laws. Note - this position will be temporarily remote. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate business and technical analytical skills.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES: • Lead special projects actives to support design, documentation, and validation. • Lead and participate in joint application design session with stakeholders. • Conduct data analysis and query, as well as gap analysis. • Collaborate with technical and vendor teams to capture, track and vet requirements. • Develop test strategies, test scenarios and test case. • Execute and review test runs and sign off on testing components. • Document business, functional and systems requirements and participate in reviews with development and testing team. • Provide oversight role, as required, during the Cloud stabilization phase of each migration including monitoring of system change execution, the development of system "fix" strategies and the close monitoring of the implementation of those strategies. • Communicate updates and changes to impacted stakeholders. • Collaborate, where required, to capture and change activities. • Provide back up to support PM where required. • Other responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 3 years' experience, or equivalent in healthcare IT. • Strong business/systems analysis ability and problem-solving skills. • Strong data analysis skills. • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. • Excellent presentation skills.

EDUCATION: • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, IT or Healthcare administration
