The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. The college benefits pets and their owners, food-producing animals, and wildlife by offering the highest quality hospital and diagnostic laboratory services. Equipped with the most technologically advanced facilities located on a university campus, the college is dedicated to safeguarding public health by studying emerging infectious diseases that affect both animal and human health.

Minimum Qualifications
Position Summary
This position will provide administrative support in accessions and administration sections. This will include data entry, sample processing, scanning, filing, VTH courier services, and answering client questions via phone. Other special projects as needed.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Previous experience working working in a vet clinic or laboratory setting. Medical terminology a plus.

Communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, technical skills, attention to detail, customer service skills
Physical Demands
Lift up to 25 lbs.; sit or stand for extended periods of time; driving as needed to perform job tasks
