Job Summary The Library Administration division is hiring a
TES Multimedia Specialist . Based in the Auburn University Libraries' Administration Office and reporting to the Dean. This employee designs, develops, writes, and maintains textual and graphic web page content and electronic news distributions for the libraries.
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads Assistance with special projects Seasonal work Emergencies If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a great way to showcase your professional skills and assist Auburn University while gaining valuable work experience within higher education.

Essential Functions
Write, edit, and develop news and feature stories that tell the libraries' story to both internal and external audiences. Plan, develop, and execute captivating digital content that highlight various aspects of the libraries. Create a variety of printed material for the libraries, from postcards to multi-page publications. Create a variety of digital material for use on the web, social media, and other mediums. Maintain the digital signage system.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. Experience in multimedia technologies. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to contribute collegially and productively in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications
Posting Detail Information Salary Range $20.00/hour
Work Hours Monday-Friday between 7:45am-4:45pm, hours may vary as needed
