Responsibilities
Testing Oversee interior office construction through all phases of the process from programming to completion Lead facility maintenance to projects including HVAC, repair, electrical modifications, large kitchen systems, including hood washing, ansul fire prevention, and electrostatic precipitators Coordinate design & construction vendor RFP/procurement and contract negotiations Manage architects, contractors, and other consultants on major renovations or new construction Review construction documents including architectural and MEP plans and specifications and provide comments Abstract leases and related documents and track critical lease dates for all offices Work with brokers and external attorneys on transactions, reviewing RFPs, LOIs, financial analysis and leases and providing comments and recommendations to execute on the best strategic path for transactions Draft data/financial analysis, presentations, processes, and procedures, when necessary Work with Senior Manager, Facilities and Director of Special Projects on other significant projects as necessary, including business continuity and sustainability Qualifications
Experience managing construction projects and leading facility maintenance activities, especially technical support systems Ability to understand and analyze architectural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans ("MEP") An extensive knowledge of principles, policies, trends and practices relating to construction and commercial real estate transactions Demonstrate a thorough understanding of real estate terms and conditions, leases and construction-related agreements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team or independently Self-motivated Available to travel as necessary Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, construction management, real estate, finance or equivalent combination of education and work experience Minimum of 6-10 years of related experience in real estate and/or construction project management at a professional services firm, preferably law firm The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 - $200,000.
