Functions as the system administrator and senior analyst for the modules within Workday - Dayton Children's ERP system. Resources focused on the technical work stream will be responsible for system planning, control, security, auditing, reporting, testing, maintenance, updates, and enhancements of Workday modules.

- Configure, support, and optimize the design and development of Workday HCM, benefits and absence modules.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals, and gaps.
- Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects and system enhancements.
- Responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring the Workday HCM product and creating documentation as needed
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives.
- Triage, diagnose, and assign/resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, integration warnings/errors, etc.
1. Responsibilities - 80%
• Provide HR system support and assist with solutions to include development, testing, maintenance, reporting and integration.
• Develop ad hoc reports to support data requests from internal clients. Recommend and define logic for reports, develop standard reporting to meet business requirements, and offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity.
• Ensure system accuracy through regular audits, recognizing data problems or inconsistencies by understanding HR system data feeds and how they work with other business systems.
• Review, test and implement upgrades in Workday (including weekly updates, semi-annual feature releases, and ongoing changes), participating as a technical team member for module testing and upgrades.
• Ensure system is properly working by developing test plans and executing them.
• Provide point-of-contact technical assistance to both Administrators and End-Users of HR Systems, including reporting, troubleshooting and queries as needed.
• Monitor adherence to data management procedures.
• Communicate effectively with HR, IT, and management staff to identify problems, resolve inquires, and derive appropriate system and/or process solutions.
• Review business process transactions awaiting type report for key processes and ensure items are completed timely.
• Provide HR Support (Workday Mailbox & Functional Leads).
• Provide knowledge transfer so functional teams can be self-sufficient in Workday.
• Submit Workday support tickets for issues/requested functionality when applicable, and manage incidents, track ticket status and partner with internal teams to resolve.
• ssist with Workday Community searches with functional leads.
• Support best practice technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Partner with the business to evaluate existing business processes for opportunities to develop and drive greater efficiencies and enhanced capabilities.

2. Dayton Children's Workday Projects - 10%
• Project/process improvements - recommend process improvements and innovative solutions. Use project management skills in managing and supporting projects. Create or develop Employee Solutions standard operating procedures and workflow for any new processes.
