Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care and services to the community. This company is based in Willow Grove, PA. We are in search of a temporary Senior Accountant that can fill in medical leave estimated to last 6-9 months.

Job Title: Senior Accountant (Temporary)

Location: Willow Grove, PA

Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $38-$40/hr.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on healthcare. This role is fully onsite and requires a commitment to maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
