The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company's compensation strategies and programs. This position is responsible for conducting market research, compiling job data, analyzing compensation data, and providing recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.

The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company's compensation strategies and programs. This position is responsible for conducting market research, compiling job data, analyzing compensation data, and providing recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis by gathering and analyzing compensation data from various sources, including surveys, industry benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
- Analyze salary data to identify market trends, compensation ranges, and competitive positioning.
- Participate in industry specific salary surveys.
- Assist with the job evaluation and grading process.
- Conduct job evaluations and analyze job descriptions to determine appropriate job grades and salary ranges and exemption status (FLSA).
- Assist in the maintenance of job description library.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and incentives.
- Develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze compensation reports and presentations.
- Participate in compensation-related projects, such as salary adjustments, merit increases, and incentive plan reviews.
- Provide support for HRIS system implementations and upgrades related to compensation.
- Collaborate with other HR departments, such as Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition, to ensure alignment with compensation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits of pay rates to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation (e.g., minimum wage)
- Maintain the confidentiality of all employee compensation information.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis and administration.
- CCP or other compensation certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with HRIS systems administration preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of employee information and data.
