What you will contribute:

As part of the Treasury team at MoneyGram, you will be responsible for daily FX trading and risk management at the Corporate Treasury level. Reporting to the Head of FX, the role includes executing FX contracts to facilitate global funding and exposure reporting. The Senior FX Trader will collaborate with the Pricing team to provide consumer level pricing analysis and support of broader global Treasury efforts. This position serves as a consultant to internal stakeholders, providing FX and banking solutions for pricing-value improvement and new product development. The role will develop and maintain strong relationships with business financial leadership and external banks and FX counterparties. The Sr. FX Trader will be required to understand MoneyGram's businesses and strategies, with a focus on process improvement, Treasury, and Pricing optimization.

What you'll do:

Calculate and validate daily FX exposures based on ERP reporting. Utilize trading and treasury systems to execute spot, forward and swap contracts to meet foreign currency cash requirements and to hedge exposures within the guidelines of the FX Policy. Collaborate with Cash Management and Settlement teams in Dallas, London, Singapore, and Dubai to forecast FX cash balances and facilitate trade settlement. Work with Accounting to verify extraordinary entries subject to FX revaluation. Monitor and enhance daily FX rate processes to ensure rates are accurately updated in critical systems. Explores and engages with market participants to develop insight into trading and pricing improvement opportunities within the wholesale FX markets. Develops in-depth understanding of emerging market currencies. Develops and manages bank and broker relationships to facilitate FX trading. Monitors, funds, and supports partnership activities for global treasury transactions executed on a daily basis. Collaborates with Finance-Pricing teams to provide consumer pricing strategies through FX market insight, wholesale trading, and base rate modifications. What we're looking for:

BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics 3-5 plus years' experience in finance, treasury, or foreign exchange. Prior experience with a commercial bank FX desk is highly preferred. 3-5 plus years' proven experience effectively working across multiple business lines in a global company or financial institution. Essential Skills: Minimum Required: Meaningful experience with FX trading and risk management on behalf of a commercial bank, brokerage or corporate treasury. Strong desire to explore pricing disparities within FX markets stemming from a consumer, interbank, and regulatory perspective. Approaches trading and settlement activities with a risk management mindset. Proven communication and presentations skills; ability to share and clearly explain business insight, findings, and judgement to senior management. Excellent analytical, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to navigate dynamic environment with changing priorities. Proven experience effectively working with bank processing and currency volatility. Ability to facilitate meetings and negotiate requirements to ensure full disclosure on banking and brokerage partners. Ability to logically present market information and concepts by tailoring approach both verbally and written. Proven ability to mentor staff and collaborate across a global enterprise. System experience with Bloomberg and/or Refinitiv products, multi-counterparty trading platforms, and treasury workstations. Why you will love working here:

Salary:

Anticipated Base Pay: $85-$110k + participation in our annual bonus plan.
