Job Title:

HRIS Analyst (SAP SuccessFactors)

Type of Position:

6-month contract position to start. Possible for extension, likely long term for direct hire.

Candidate Requirements:

This role is working for a major defense contractor. Candidates must be either US Citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) to be eligible for this role. Candidates on CPT, OPT, H1B or TN visas are not eligible for this role. This company is NOT open to corp2corp (c2c) or corp2hire (c2h).

Job Location:

Columbus, OH (near the OSU Medical Center).

Compensation:

$50.00/hr to $65.00/hr (depending on experience). There may be some additional flexibility for well-qualified candidates. Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours.

Job Description / Duties:

HRU Technical Resources has paartnered with a major federal government contractor and non-profit organization that seeks to translate scientific discovery and technology advances into societal benefits to hire an HRIS Analyst (SAP SuccessFactors).

Responsibilities:

Technical and Functional Expertise:
  • Provide technical and functional administration for HR systems, including design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, reporting, and training.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize HR system usage, functionality, and data requirements for process improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HR system issues, providing effective solutions.
System Support and Reporting:
  • Develop ad hoc reports to support data requests from internal clients.
  • Define logic for reports and create standard reporting to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure accurate data display by recognizing and resolving inconsistencies in HR system data feeds and integrations with other business systems.
Implementation and Updates:
  • Participate in the implementation and updates of HRIS modules.
  • Review quarterly release notes, communicate system updates to stakeholders, and ensure proper system functionality through test plan development and execution.
End-User Support and Training:
  • Provide technical assistance to end users of HR systems and other HR database solutions.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver HR system training tailored to end-user needs.
Data Management and Communication:
  • Monitor adherence to data management procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with HR, IT, and management staff to identify problems, resolve inquiries, and implement system or process solutions.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is required. We strongly prefer candidates with experience utilizing SAP SuccessFactors. Candidates who have other relevant HRIS experience (ADP Enterprise, Workday, or other Core HR/Payroll systems) may also be considered (but would be at a disadvantage).
  • Familiarity with talent management systems (e.g., Cornerstone on Demand), applicant tracking systems, and report writing tools.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Expertise in defining system solutions, automating work processes, and implementing cloud-based systems.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective interpersonal relationships across various management and staff levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
Additional Expertise:
  • Maintain expert-level user knowledge of HR system solutions, including understanding the underlying data structures.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
  • This role works normal business hours (day shift) - and will be 40 hours per week at a minimum.
  • This will be an onsite role (no remote work).
  • Occasional overtime is possible (and any OT would be paid at 1.5x).
  • Offer will be contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen (drug screen will include cannabis per federal requirements).
